Paul attended public and private k-12 schools of wide-ranging quality. These experiences instilled in him a visceral sense of educational inequity and racial justice. He has spent the last ten years in the corporate and nonprofit worlds as a recruiter, a mentor to underserved youth, a community engagement leader, a diversity trainer, and a talent manager supporting school leaders in high-performing charter schools to hire top-notch teachers to serve in low-income communities.
Paul earned his BA in Political Science from Northeastern University and his MA in the Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies (POLS) program at the Stanford Graduate School of Education.
In all of his work, Paul has been focused on creating a more equitable society by treating people as the most important part of the system. He is obsessive about the practice of human improvement -- getting the right people on the right teams to do the work that brings them meaning and purpose. Most importantly, he works directly with those teams to ensure that every member feels safe, valued, and seen.
